This is a rectangular wooden frame by East Side Mouldings. This company makes good quality handmade frames that are often used for counted cross stitch designs. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the specific design for which this frame was made. I know it is called “Liberty” as it is marked on the tag, but I do not know the name of the designer. The frame is number ESM 38.
The frame is painted dark blue and it has an inset frame which is gray. Both have mitered corners and some beveling. The frame measures approximately 9″ wide, 10″ long and 1/2″ thick. The opening measures approximately 6 3/8″ x 5 3/8″.
Both of these frames are shop new, from store inventory. They have a little wear to the paint from storage, over and above the intentional distressed finish, but I do not find it terribly distracting because of the overall style of the frame. However, I have reduced the price slightly to compensate.
