ProWax Wax Guards For Oticon / Bernafon Hearing

No-Wax now known as Pro-Wax. Can also be used with Oticon and Bernafon hearing
aids that have previously used NoWax.
ProWax is a shallower version of the NoWax used a lot
with Oticon and Bernafon hearing aids.
The ProWax has a finer filter than the NoWax and has
the benefit of being nano coated with moisture repellency.
ProWax is seen on Oticon and Bernafon RITE / miniRITE
receiver wires with S and M power levels, Power Moulds and with Intiga i and
Intiga IIC, Saphira and Juna IIC. (RITE and miniRITE P receiver wires and Micro
Moulds use Cerustops).
ProWax is also
used across the new Inium range of hearing aids, Alta, Nera, Ria, Saphira, Juan
(ITE, ITC, CIC, Flex Mould, miniFit Lite and Micro Moulds), but not miniFit
Receiver wires (60, 85, 100) which use ProWax miniFIT.
How to replace a ProWax filter
Remove the tool from the shell. The tool has two
arms, one with the new filter and one with the removal tool.
Push the removal tool into the existing wax
filter and remove the used filter from the hearing instrument.
Push the new filter into the hearing instrument.
Throw out the used tool.
Over time the wax
filter in your hearing aid can become blocked with wax and needs
replacing.  Your ear canal produces ear
wax which may clog up the ear piece. Ear wax is one of the main causes of
problems in hearing aids. Most hearing aids come with a filter or other device
to prevent wax from entering the instrument. Prowax filters are an effective
and easy-to-use wax protection system for your Hearing Aids. Prowax packets
come with 6 replacement wax filters for your hearing aids. The black tools hold
the new ProWax on one end and the other end is used to remove the existing ProWax.
Use the wax protection system and tools to clean away any accumulated wax each
day.
